Maybe it's for the Better

Maybe it’s for the better

Maybe your sadness will change for better

And you’ll wake up different

You feel crushed but you stay on your feet

You’re exhausted?

So what?

What’s the World other than grief?

And if what had passed had been heartbreak

I’m sure happiness comes next

Don’t cry for those who left

And focus on what’s here

To hell with them

You’ve had your share of pats on the back?

And still, we weren’t happy

We reached out many times with our hands and eyes

We didn’t take

Who forced us to carry sorrow?

We’ll always be worth a lot

And with who doesn’t mind us

For a heart, full of misery

Destroyed by evil’s patience

Everything you want will come

And you’ll experience ecstasy

We’re created walking in torment

But we didn’t sleep today

We will forget

And our distress will turn to glory

For an eye ruined by tears

Its sheds become memories

And god’s repayment pleases her

So if she cried some day for the past’s regrets

She’ll shed from God’s generosity

There’s nothing you leave

And you still have your share in it

If a loved one left you

Be sure they’re not coming back

Your despair over the past

Will not gain you anything that has passed

You won’t die in their absence

You’ve gone through a lot

And it’s okay

The world continues

A lot is still hiding

So live your life

You’ll tire again

And suffer again

And still, the World is carrying more

So keep your superior certainty

In your God’s superior kindness

And just like you visited heartache

You’ll get to meet joy

You haven’t been good in a while

You’re upset

You weren’t like this

If the whole World wasn’t okay

You found a way to be

Your thoughts were never tainted or calculating

Who said what

And who did what

And who’s asleep

And who’s awake

Increasing the grace of feeling makes you perish early

Makes you sensitive to any word

You get disturbed

You don’t protest so people don’t call you a complainer

You make a pot of tea

And become lonely because it's lasting

You used to create joy and happiness everywhere

But that’s the past

Now you’re grey and sullen

Where did this despondency find you?

Why are you sick and sombre?

To hell with them and their flaws

To hell with them and the envy in their hearts

Stay in your loyalty

And to hell with them and their deeds

Anguish doesn’t suit you

Your life is still in the beginning

The pain will go away and you’ll start from the beginning

And just like you visited heartache

You’ll get to meet joy

If everything you’ve seen carried the scent of worries

Everything waiting is lovely and pleasant

And will last

You’ll love it
